Hands down, Dashain is one of the most important festival of Nepali people. Regardless of their religion the Dashain has the special corner in Nepal. Dashain is synonymous to Kites, family reunion, meat, new clothes and “dakchina”. While most of these these things are intact, the numbers of kites seen in sky is decreasing in rapid pace. There was time when there used to be kites all around the sky, now you barely see kites hovering in the sky.
While most of the kinds now a days are amused in using modern form of entertainment we can still spot few kids flying kite.
